The Humble Co. is PETA certified

The Humble Co. continues to find ways to improve products. We are happy to announce that our Humble Brush and Natural Toothpaste are now PETA certified. PETA, which stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with over 6.5 million members and supporters.

“PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: in the food industry, in the clothing trade, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of rodents, birds, and other animals who are often considered “pests” as well as cruelty to domesticated animals.” – PETA mission statement

Our Humble Brush and Natural Toothpaste are vegan and have not been tested on animals. In addition, they do not contain any animal products. With our bamboo toothbrushes, we are helping to protect animals by not only reducing plastic waste in oceans and landfills but also ensuring that the manufacturing of our toothbrushes does not contain any animal products. Traditional plastic toothbrushes can contain animal products in their coating.

Founded by a small group of dentists from different parts of the world, The Humble Co. and Humble Smile Foundation were created from a shared commitment to oral health and an understanding that it’s not necessary to harm our environment just to brush our teeth properly. In five years, The Humble Co. has conquered Europe and Asia by creating the world’s best selling bamboo toothbrush, Humble Brush. The bamboo toothbrush has replaced over 10 million plastic brushes and funded over 30 Humble Smile Foundation projects from Cambodia to Nicaragua in the process.

‘Can we change our ways of production and consumption? Can we help provide oral care products to those that need it most? The answer is yes!’ – Noel Abdayem, Founder & CEO, The Humble Co.
